VIDEO: Down By The Bay, Where The Grapevines Grow

The former Visitor Information Center, once a neglected eyesore of Mission Bay Park, has been transformed and restored into a modern and trendy food, drink, and hangout spot. Introducing: The Mission Bay Beach Club.

The inviting outdoor space is perfect to hang out and enjoy the beautiful Mission Bay landscape with friends and family – both furry and non-furry. Throughout the space there are plenty of seating options and views of the San Diego Bay. You can sit at a wooden table, lounge on a comfy Adirondack, or plop yourself on a couch.  Any way it goes, there are multiple vantage points that are stimulating to the senses.

The Mission Bay Beach Club is family-friendly; those with children can sit and enjoy a latte or cocktail while the kids play on the basketball court right across the way, or a game of bocce ball right on the grounds.

The eatery, Super Bloom, features a fresh menu, including paninis, avocado toasts, salads, pastries, coffee drinks, and more recently, a selection of craft cocktails, beers, and wine. In the summertime, they have perfected the ice cream cookie sandwich for a sweet, cool treat.

In addition to Super Bloom, there are other shops open within the space, and more scheduled to open later this year.

One of the most unique aspects of the Mission Bay Beach Club are the decorative, working mini grape vineyards.  This clever touch borders a portion of the Club, and has a variety of grapes that grow seasonally.  While not enough to mass produce wine (yet), it’s a unique touch that isn’t expected on the waterfront.

What was the highlight of The Mission Bay Beach Club? Watching jet skiers and boaters pass by on the water while sipping my latte overlooking the vineyards. It doesn’t get more San Diego than that!

With havin so much content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright violation? My website has a lot of exclusive content I’ve either authored myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any methods to help reduce content from being stolen? I’d definitely appreciate it.

Superb layout and design, but most of all, concise and helpful information. Great job, site admin. Take a look at my website YQ9 for some cool facts about Cosmetic Treatment.
